Conditions are far more bearable in March than they're in January and February in Prague. Anticipate some flurries or, if climate is warmer, rain. Cloudy days persist, but a rise in the average temperature tends to make sightseeing easier than it is in winter.

What to bring for Prague in March

A number of clothing for Prague in March is a must, though long sleeves, sweaters, and a cold weather layer will still be required many days. An umbrella can be purchased in handy for either rain or snowfall, although the rainiest months tend to be yet to come.

March Holidays and Events in Prague

Bohemian Carnevale is Prague's yearly program of activities for Carnival. Masopust the Czech standard festival of Shrovetide, can be celebrated during this period. This regular gathering most frequently happens in February, but it occasionally drops in March.

If Easter falls in March, you can go to the Prague Easter Markets, buy Czech Easter Eggs, and luxuriate in Easter in Prague.

March 17th is St. Patrick's Day in Prague. Enjoy at an Irish pub and revel in activities of Irish dance and music through the Irish Music Festival.
