Inexpensive Eats Review
This gorgeously austere bar and restaurant is somewhat bit of Prague in Kings Cross, tucked inside a cosily transformed terrace with sandstone wall space, old fireplaces and bar benches made of recycled wood alcohol kegs. Jan Koller’s powerful central European meals is hugely flavoursome in portions that will intimidate even the heartiest of eaters. Begin with a conventional goulash $11.90 or salmon carpaccio with dill, parmesan, olive-oil and a sprinkling of vodka $11.90. Golden roasted duck $25.90 is supported on a mountain of potato dumplings, purple cabbage and sauerkraut. A meat plate for 2 $49.50 includes duck, chicken knuckle and marinated chicken ribs. Clean everything down with one of many real Bohemian beers on faucet or a digestion-friendly pear brandy $6.90.
