Bratislava, money of Slovakia

Walk down charming streets in Bratislava’s center or take a stroll over the spectacular embankment of Danube River. Lednice – Valtice Region – UNESCO Site

An extensive Baroque complex designed for the Liechtenstein household by notable architects, the area is spread involving the tiny cities of Lednice and Valtice, situated southeast of Brno, and addresses 250 square kilometers. The complex includes different chateau structures, landscapes, ponds, forests and ornamental sculptures from various times.
Valtice Chateau, after the residence of princes, is enclosed by a spectacular all-natural playground spread with many enchanting structures, rare woods and greenhouses with tropical flowers. Historical personalities including Emperor Franz Joseph I and his wife Empress “Sisi” also Chancellor Metternich once visited the chateau.
Lednice Chateau had been reconstructed into the mid-19th century as a summertime palace in English Gothic style. It began as a Gothic fort in 1222. In the premises is an artificial Baroque cave, a Turkish tower, a greenhouse, an enchanting artificial ruin called John’s Castle while the Apollo Temple, a tiny, enchanting chateau. The extensive yard includes a big pond and a Chinese pavilion.
