"An oasis, with really accommodating front desk staff"

This was our first visit to Prague, and we decided on a "non-Old Town" place, according to various other reviews we'd read that told of sleepless nights (due to street noise and celebratory tasks), and a dearth of amenities, (eg air-conditioning, in-room restroom services, room furnitures), etc. We were delighted with this stay on Clarion Hotel Prague City. Our morning meal was included everyday, and that ended up being appreciated, due to the unwavering heat, [daily temperatures ranged from 89 -103 degrees (F), during our stay, in July'15], and not having to keep the hotel to consume breakfast in an air-conditioned, break fast restaurant, daily had been a very pleasant start to every day. [US "oldies, from 80's & 90's", played in the speakers every day], extremely similar to the section we hear every day, in the states, and so I thought right at home. The front desk staff accommodated every demand we had, from organizing cabs, supper bookings, and other regular requests, to arranging for a 1 night resort reservation for many other visitors we'd found during our stay through the US, who have been sweltering in their Old Town hotel, through the heat-wave, and required some relief before traveling back to the usa. The housekeeping staff ended up being very efficient, and would turn-over our room each and every morning, with clean linens daily, although we ate breakfast. A nearby had an excellent collection of sidewalk cafes, in addition to ease of being just 2 stops from Old Town regarding the Metro was great.
