My wife and I have only get back to Oz after carrying this out journey (6050). We liked it! The resort hotels had been great, not extremely near city. Did all of the recommended trips except the Vienna Sight-seeing one. Believed the "Sound of Music" optional tour had been a waste even as we failed to see something additional (except for a bus day at see the gazebo...song "16 happening 17") we could not have seen ourselves while walking through the town! If you the trip at an excellent price (as we did!) you will need to do-all the most important Optional extras since they are great! Loved the Vienna musical night...a window of opportunity for the females to dress!

You will need to organize anything for yourselves on evening that you reach Salzburg as there is nothing on plus the resort (v. good) is close to the airport and Salzburg appears to shut down very early. Our guide booked us a classical music evening (with supper) for about 60 Euros each that was fantastic (if you like Mozart). We'd a lovely time. Our tour guide Anna was positively great and extremely went out of the woman method to have the team included...played games from the bus, had karaoke on evening trips and assisted make it very memorable.

The Musical nights in Prague and Budapest were great. The music and dancing at Budapest was better! The Danube supper cruise was exceptional together with Danube during the night is spectacular . We performed the Schonbrunn palace also and that had been good if, like united states, you havent seen way too many palaces before. The Munich farewell supper was exceptional with mains of a Pork knuckle (sort of Pork shank) and 1 litre steins of beer.

We found the journey good value and extremely well-organised. Cosmos do appear to act on comments from individuals, therefore we discovered it better than some previous reports recommend! Only long travel had been back once again to Salzburg, but there is a two time take a look at Melk Abbey (historical Benedictine monastery 800 yrs . old) that will be stunning and lovely landscapes and church.
