Visit Prague in 3 days
If you have just one day in Prague (that’s a shame, however, if you can’t do just about anything about it, at the very least anything is preferable to such a thing, isn’t it?).
I am not a morning person, so that the itinerary below begun rather nearer to noon time than morning hours.:-)
Before all, charge your “batteries” with a sophisticated morning meal, without exaggerating it, or you won’t manage to walk one step. Start where Royal path begins, which in front of the Municpal House and continue below
- Celetna Street: Powder Tower (No.14 on the map), Municipal home, Old Town Square (No 11)
- Climb-down the Prague Castle stairs that cause you to Nerudova Street
- Follow the signs (or the crowd) toward Charles Bridge
plus trip with an excellent dinner at one of the many pubs/restaurants in center. For a couple extra crowns you might invest a fantastic time dinning at terraces simply opposite the popular Astronomical Clock within the Old Town Square.Map figures indicate:
1 – Prague Castle
2 – Belvedere
3 – St. Nicholas Church
4 – Prague baby Jesus (Prazska jezulatko)
5 – Petrin search tower, mirror maze, funicular
6 – Lesser town connection tower
7 – Charles Bridge
8 – Old town bridge tower
9 – Rudolfinum concert hallway
10 – Josefov – Prague Jewish Town
11 – Old Town Square
12 – Orloj and Old Town Hall
13 – Tyn Church
14 – Powder Tower
15 – Betlem Chapel
16 – Venceslas Square
