Travel in to the town from Prague Airport
There's absolutely no metro at Prague Airport, so to visit by public transport in to the city requires taking a coach then changing towards metro. When you have luggage or simply just favor a smoother trip, we advise booking a taxi using our Prague airport transfers service.

By public transport, there's two channels into the town center. Both take around 60 minutes:

Path 1: Bus 119 from all terminals at Prague Airport to, then your metro to your location.

Route 2: Bus 100 from all terminals at Prague Airport to, then metro to your location.

Fare: 32czk if you board the bus with a pass (for sale on trains and buses Information table in the airport); 40czk in the event that you purchase a ticket onboard the bus (specific change needed).

Travel round the city centre by public transport
Prague is a concise city, so it is a satisfaction to visit across the town center by walking or by public transport. Use taxis with caution - taxis hailed from the road can overcharge, plus there clearly was frequently substantial traffic obstruction.

Ticket validation: validate your solution before you travel by punching it into the orange device positioned towards the top of the escalators on metro, and inside trams and buses.

PRAGUE METRO
The Prague Metro operates day-to-day 05:00-24:00. Metro outlines run a site every 2-3 minutes during peak hours, and 4-9 mins after 19:00.

There are 3 metro lines: A (green), B (yellow) and C (purple). These cover all areas associated with city center.
